Student Grade Calculator

A Java web application that calculates weighted final marks and grades from semester and exam results, built for a VUT DevOps practical assessment.

My role
CI Engineer and Git Lead on the assessment team.
Project scope
The project combines a Servlet/JSP interface with Maven and JUnit, build-and-test workflows in GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and Docker packaging for Tomcat deployment.

A proof of concept for identifying suspicious transactions in an imbalanced dataset, where fraudulent examples are much rarer than legitimate ones.

My role
Team lead for the VUT Business Analysis project.

Data preparation, class balancing and a comparison of classification models, with evaluation focused on fraud detection.

A little about me / 02

Software development
with a team mindset.

I completed my Diploma in IT (Software Development) at Vaal University of Technology and am currently studying towards my Advanced Diploma.

I enjoy connecting application logic, data and interfaces. In team assessments, I have taken on CI engineering, Git coordination and project leadership alongside technical project work.

I’m looking to contribute to a software team through Java or Python development, API integration and testing, while learning from experienced engineers.
